The train coin bank is incredibly rich in texture. Some spots are smooth, some have a brushed texture to them, and others have a bumpy texture. There is also an incredible amount of detail. You can see a lot of rivets, the spokes on the wheels, and the areas where all the pieces that make up a locomotive join together. The finish is a brushed metal which looks like pewter.
