In our West if you're lucky you might spot a big horn up in the mountains. The Big Horn is a breed of sheep. It is appropriately named Big Horn since the sheep could have 30 lbs of horn on its head. Hard to imagine keeping your balance in the mountains while carrying 30 lbs on your head.
It is thought the Big Horn originally got to America by crossing from Siberia. There were millions of them. That population has fallen to thousands. It's an animal that is easy to identify with those really Big Horns!
