Buffalo Sculpture - checking it out
A large, 8 inch, Buffalo is atop this craggy base of this bison sculpture. As the bison looks below, it appears as if he's thinking about the height he climbed. A very contemplative expression is on his face. There is also the same buffalo in a larger size. The sculpture begins with a resin core which is then electroplated with bronze for a lasting finish. The muscles and bone structure are well sculpted.
Historically, the American Bison (Buffalo) goes back 10-15 million years to the African buffalo. Can you imagine - 10-15 million years?!!!! That's a long time ago!
