This eagle head has a beak that looks quite dangerous. It is jagged and its primary use was stripping meat from a prey captured. Interesting, an eagle doesn't carry prey in it's beak. An Upside Down Bald Eagle!!! As a lifelong birder I have seen many bald eagles....however, only ONCE have I seen an eagle turn over and fly upside down! It's an amazing sight. Our photographer was lucky to also see a bald eagle turn over while flying and this photo is the result.
