A lovable pair - a Mom & Baby Lion - are the feature of this statue. It is made of resin, then hand painted. Very realistic colors on this pair.  Did you know that baby lions are born blind? Their eyes are closed. The eyes do not open for 2-3 weeks. The lioness creates a "nest" to give birth, away from the pride. She does not introduce her babies to the pride under they are 3 months old. In this statue the baby is tucked next to the mom as they walk together.

The talons of an eagle can exert pressure equating to 1,000 lbs! Can you imagine? This eagle sculpture shows the talons extended and outstretched.  An eagle has 700 individual feathers. Many of those feathers are visible on this sculpture. The sculptor did a great job in its design. You can easily see four layers of feathers on the wings.
