Grizzly Bear is standing holding a Fish Statue. Standing 8 inches high this good looking bear sculpture depicts a scene that is quite familiar if you are in grizzly bear territory near water.

The craftsman that carved this bear sculpture did a great job! The coat of the bear is alternately smooth and rough in texture making it look very realistic.

A 10 inch Bear has its front feet resting on a tree stump. This large bear sculpture was hand-carved by an Indian using a craft his people began using centuries ago. Besides being a good looking bear, this statue tells a wonderful story.

Each bear statue is made by hand. No motors. So, the end result is NOT exactly the same.  Read the Ironstone Story for details.

Did you know? Bears have excellent long-term spatial memory. Brown bears will return to productive berry patches and salmon streams season after season for their entire life.

Male Grizzly Bears can weigh close to 1,000 lbs! That's pretty BIG and be 8 feet long. The Grizzly is a North American animal. 

An interesting fact about the Grizzly is how it got its name. Lewis and Clark described the bear as GRISLEY which they meant to say "with grey-tipped hair" Over the years their narrow definition was abandoned. And, as an added note, I am a descendant of Clark

It's not white, but this is a Polar Bear Statue. Notice the length of the hair of the coat. At the San Diego Zoo it's really fun to see the polar bears playing. Or, you can go to  Churchill to see Polar Bear's when they come South in Canada for the harshest part of the winter. If you are really adventurous, you can go to the Arctic. Perhaps, the easiest thing to do is to purchase this statue!

The core of the bear is made of resin which allows for the long hair...it has been electroplated with bronze. Customization is possible.

A glorious coat of fur is shown on this bear statue. the statue is made of bronze in the USA. the bear looks as if he's about ready to pounce. If you collect bears or need a bear to go with a bull, this delightful fellow will be a good choice. The base is made of walnut. It can be personalized with a plaque, but a narrow plate due to the edging of the base.

With one paw on a rock, this bear is definitely checking things out. For one of our smaller bear sculptures, this sculpture still has a lot happening.

With a resin core that has been electroplated with bronze, the coat of this bear is quite "hair-like." The oval base is 4-1/2 inches long. It can have a 1/2 inch high plaque that is 3 inch long. We will mail you the plaque for you to adhere. It's easy to do.

We chose the adjective "Curious" to describe this Bear Statue. It has been flawlessly created with lots of detail. The bear's fur makes you want to touch it because the fur looks so real. The toenails have great detail The face is wonderful with the nostrils and hair looking just like it should. The bear appears to be descending on a rock very carefully looking for something.

Customization is easy on the black base. A plaque can easily be adhered. Since the base is oval, the length of the plaque is limited to 5 inches, height 1-1/4 inch. Plaque is as easy to adhere as a band-aid and will be mailed separately.

The texture of the coat is very coarse for this Grouchy Bear Statue.

It is made of resin all the small details are well done, teeth, paws, ears are very well designed. The bear has a bronze finish.

The oval base will allow a plaque 4" x 1/2" if you'd like to customize.

We think of Bears as Fierce! But, how do these large animals sneak up on their "catch". They need to be stealth. 

In this bear statue, you can "feel" the caution as the bear lowers its front paw. Looks like it will be done quietly. Thus, we've named this bear our Stealth Bear statue.

It is made of bronze and the coarse coat of the bear is well depicted. 

A plaque can easily adhere to the base. Due to the curved corners of the base probably best to keep the plaque at 4 inches in length.
