This crystal pig statue has the theme "When Pigs Fly". This idiom has been with us for centuries. It basically means "IMPOSSIBLE!"

A fun story: After the New Orleans Saints, long known for their lack of success, won the 2009 NFC Championship Game by making a field goal in sudden death overtime, longtime Saints radio announcer Jim Henderson exclaimed, "Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints are on their way to the Super Bowl!

The crystal pig is made in the USA by a craftsman that has been creating crystal animals for 3 decades. This pig is a wonderful depiction of the old idiom.

With a grin on its face this Sloth Statue looks like a happy fella. Sitting on its rear with front paws extended, the sloth appears to be content. You can see the "hair" on his body.

The sloth makes its home in Latin and South American. It is best known for its slowness. Cute though, don't you think?

Squirrels -  a perfect photo for a Conference Room!

This turtle statue is truly a work of art. I get mesermized as I look at it. The turtle is created by mouth blowing with a mixture of glass colors. Each turtle is similar, but different. The shell looks translucent - simply gorgeous. You can see through the golden brown legs and head. This turtle looks like it could have been created in Murano - it wasn't - just looks like it.

Size is good too....over 12 inches long....

The shell of a turtle is unique and serves to protect the animal and provide shelter from the elements. It is primarily made of bone. The outer surface of the shell is made of keratin...same substance that makes up human hair and fingernails.

Beautiful colors have combined to create this glass turtle statue. Probably the most beautiful turtle you've seen! The turtle is 8 inches long. Created by blowing by mouth as each turtle is formed one at a time.

Did you know that turtles don't have teeth?

An awesome looking turtle! Can it breathe? Looks so good, might be possible. But, no this tortoise statue is made of resin and has been hand painted. A very realistic tortoise. "Feels" sandy just from the image.

Love the pose too. The tortoise's head is raised - looking so proud. The shell is perfect. The skin looks just like it should. Great rendition.
