A lovable pair - a Mom & Baby Lion - are the feature of this statue. It is made of resin, then hand painted. Very realistic colors on this pair. 

Did you know that baby lions are born blind? Their eyes are closed. The eyes do not open for 2-3 weeks. The lioness creates a "nest" to give birth, away from the pride. She does not introduce her babies to the pride under they are 3 months old.

In this statue the baby is tucked next to the mom as they walk together.

The male lion is strutting. Gorgeous mane, with the various colors showing his maturity. His tail is raised. You can even see the dark spots on his chin where his whiskers grow.
