Did you know that a Killer Whale is actually part of the broader dolphin family? Perhaps, that's why they're so agile. If you sail in waters where Orcas swim, you see them surfacing often. Their distinctive black and white design makes the orca easily identified. 

This 18 inch high whale statue is quite impressive.  Instead of white, this statue shows the killer whale as black and brass colored. Many of found killer whales as friendly in the water. This statue conveys that feeling - it doesn't look angry. The statue has been created with resin and then electroplated for a lasting finish.  Customization is possible.

Killer whales are highly social animals - frequently forming family groups called pods. The killer what has the reputation of having the most stable family group of any animal species. They sophisticated hunting techniques and vocal behaviours,

Who wouldn't want this absolutely gorgeous Humpback Whale statue? It's just awesome. At 18 inches in height it will command attention. The coloring of the humpback is so good. Remember this whale is first made of resin then electroplated with bronze for this lasting finish. How did the sculptor accomplish this look. The whale has the humpback breaching above the water. 

Adult humpbacks range in length from 39–52 ft and weigh around 28–33 short tons. That's big!  Many humpbacks migrate long distances. One research study showed a group migrated from the Antarctic to Costa Rica - a distance of over 5,000 miles.

Sea Turtle is such a beautiful statue!

In Continental USA there are 3 species of the large ocean turtles that nest. The Green Turtle, the Loggerhead and the Leatherback. To help you identify which of the 3 turtles this statue represents, we have posted an image of a live Loggerhead. Our rendition looks like it - doesn't it?

The Loggerhead in the statue is diving. You can see the indentations on it's shell, just like is on the live turtle, like pieces of a puzzle. Because the core of this statue is made of resin all of the markings on the shell and legs are possible. 

At a height of practically a foot, this turtle statue will make a statement in your office or home. The wooden base has a limited surface for a plaque,  2" x 1".

A typical adult loggerhead is 35" long and weighs around 300 lb. It cannot retract it's flippers under its shell. Other than females who come in to nest, loggerhead turtles spend their lives in thei ocean. They tend to spend 85% of the time under water and can stay underwater for half an hour. When born, the hatchlings only are 1-1/2 inches long and weigh 7 oz....so there's a lot of growth that occurs before the loggerhead is an adult!

Beautiful colors have combined to create this glass turtle statue. Probably the most beautiful turtle you've seen! The turtle is 8 inches long. Created by blowing by mouth as each turtle is formed one at a time.

Did you know that turtles don't have teeth?

This turtle statue is truly a work of art. I get mesermized as I look at it. The turtle is created by mouth blowing with a mixture of glass colors. Each turtle is similar, but different. The shell looks translucent - simply gorgeous. You can see through the golden brown legs and head. This turtle looks like it could have been created in Murano - it wasn't - just looks like it.

Size is good too....over 12 inches long....

The shell of a turtle is unique and serves to protect the animal and provide shelter from the elements. It is primarily made of bone. The outer surface of the shell is made of keratin...same substance that makes up human hair and fingernails.

Did you know that sharks don't have bones?

This statue of a Shark is made of bronze in USA. After 30 years of creating bronze items, this craftsman's experience is easily seen. The shark "feels" almost alive. If you want to personalize, a plaque is possible on the base.

Even though we think of sharks as fierce, this bronze shark seems to be grinning at us. Looks like it's a friendly shark.

Over a foot tall this elegant looking sailboat reflects the blue colors of the tropics. The glass is mouth blown, one sailboat at a time. Thus, the sailboats are quite similar but not exact. The glass looks like the glass Murano is so famous for.

If you want a tropical theme, you could add a couple of the beautiful fish also in the Murano-style. 

Lighthouse Picture Frame is good gift a Naval person or for someone who likes to sail. The lighthouse is the beacon in the dark. Could be used as a motivational award too.

The lighthouse looks like it is made of bricks - you can see the individual bricks. The core of the lighthouse is resin which is why the individual bricks were possible to create. The finish is bronze but looks practically gold.

The oval wooden base is long enough for a plaque 6"L x 5/8"H. 

The first lighthouse to use electricity was in 1875 in Kent, England.
