This number will be between 1 and 10,000, since there are 10,000 Painted Ponies in each Edition. Translating - our pony was the 28,908 pony produced. Total produced was 34,906.

The Tang dynasty was an imperial dynasty of China that ruled most of the time from 618 to 907. Certain art forms began at this time. New York Times art critic stated "artists in the Tang dynasty absorbed influences from all over the world and created a new multiethnic Chinese culture."
