Eagle Head - a beak to avoid!$49.95
This eagle head has a beak that looks quite dangerous. It is jagged and its primary use was stripping meat from a prey captured.
Interesting, an eagle doesn't carry prey in it's beak. It uses its talons to do that. They are 10 times stronger than average human.

Tang Horse Statue$99.95
The Tang dynasty was an imperial dynasty of China that ruled most of the time from 618 to 907. Certain art forms began at this time. New York Times art critic stated "artists in the Tang dynasty absorbed influences from all over the world and created a new multiethnic Chinese culture."
This horse statue incorporates The Tang Horse concept. Note the way the "seat" has been sculpted out in the middle of the horses back. Unglazed was one form of art then. This statue has that unglazed look. This statue uses a very historical horse.
Again, from New York Times: "Tang horses are the most widely popular image of Chinese art. The horse was the emblem of wealth and power. They are meant to embody rank and speed." Awhile ago, in 1989, a Tang Horse sold at auction for over $6 million.

Crusader and Horse in Protective Gear - embellished with the Cross$44.95
The Crusades were a series of wars which took place between 1095 - 1295. At that time, Jerusalem and Holy Land were controlled by Muslims. Jerusalem was considered as a significant site for various religions - the site where Muhammad rose to heaven for Muslims - where Jesus Christ was crucified.
This Crusader statue depicts this historical moment in time. The soldier is covered in armor that was custom made for his body. He is carrying a shield with the symbol used by the Crusaders and holding a spear high. Can you imagine breathing inside that facial gear?
The horse is also wearing protective attire. Practically his whole body is covered. The statue is made of resin and has been hand painted.

Happy Holidays - Trail of Painted Ponies Ornament RARE RETIREDSpecial Price $0.00 Regular Price $29.97
RARE - RETIRED - Trail of Painted Ponies Happy Holidays Ornament
A decade ago, in 2005, this pony ornament was introduced and it was retired in 2008. We have one in stock.
Happy Holidays artist, Mike Dowdall, was a designer for the manufacturer, Westland Giftware.
Happy Holidays is a wonderful Christmas ornament. It is wearing a Holiday oriented saddle blanket. Instead of saddlebags, the artist had the inspiration to tie on stockings. The breast collar tinkles with sleigh bells.
The pony is perfect with its hanging cord. The horse is wrapped in a small plastic bag that the ornament has been placed. Then the horse & bag are put into a plastic mold where the ornament fits. Then the plastic mold is inserted in a maroon Trail of Painted Ponies box. The underside of the box has correct info.
Wall Street Gifts began 30 years ago. For awhile we had 15 web sites. One site was PonyPonyPony.com which specialized in selling all of the Trail of Painted Ponies. The box has all of the stickers on it. We found it recently in a box that has been in storage.
Enjoy Happy Holidays ornament for many years!

Bald Eagle - Upside Down photo$39.95
An Upside Down Bald Eagle!!!
As a lifelong birder I have seen many bald eagles....however, only ONCE have I seen an eagle turn over and fly upside down! It's an amazing sight. Our photographer was lucky to also see a bald eagle turn over while flying and this photo is the result. Imagine the eagle with a possible wingspan of 6 FEET accomplishing this activity in air.
We are showing this photo on the Inspirational page too. When have you thought to yourself, I can't do that. Let this bald eagle be your inspiration. Perhaps, it CAN be done!
Size of large photo is 16 x 20" - size of larger photo is 20 x 30".
Eagles do have "eagle eyes." They can see four to five times better than humans. This vision allows them to see small prey like rabbits as far as two miles away.
