At 12 inches high this eagle statue is quite impressive. The wings are spread and measure 15" wide and most feathers are finely detailed. The core is resin and the finish is bronze. The resin allows for an incredible amount of detail.

Pewter Eagle Sculpture has a ghostly look since it has a pewter finish. Makes me think of Native Americans who highly respected the eagle. Eagle was a spiritual symbol of many Native American tribes. I can imagine an eagle with this pose would capture their thoughts. And the pewter color makes it even more possible.

It's amazing that this 13.5" high eagle statue has TWO wonderful looking eagles. Most of our eagle statues have only one eagle. Also, pewter is a finish that is not common for the eagles.

On a large branch the eagle on top has it's wings raised appearing to be ready to fly. The lower eagle has its talons extended and curled ready to catch something. The feathers at the end of its wings have space between them as this eagle is slowing its descent. Great motion has been captured. 

The core of this statue is resin which is how such distinctive detail is possible. It has been electroplated with pewter. If you personalize, you can have a 5 inch x 1 inch plaque.

There is also the same buffalo in a smaller 8 inch size. The statue begins with a resin core which is then electroplated with bronze for a lasting finish. The muscles and bone structure are well sculpted.

Historically, the American Bison (Buffalo) goes back 10-15 million years to the African buffalo. Can you imagine - 10-15 million years?!!!! That's a long time ago!
