Pheasant Statue has a pheasant flying near to the ground. It's wings are extended, it's tail is fanned. The base has pieces of wood strewn on it. The feathers all over the pheasant have individual characteristics. Pheasants prefer to run and stay close to the ground. 

The origination of the pheasant is a couple of thousand years ago in Asia. They are fairly widespread in most continents today. The male pheasant is quite colorful while the female is quite drab. The male forms a harem of females.

A bobcat is the smallest cat in the lynx family. It's territory is southern Canada to northern Mexico. It resides in a den it makes. The bobcat is a solitary animal that seldom runs in packs.

A marvelous rhinocerous! - Made of bronze in the USA.

In the wild a rhino can be 6 ft high and 11 ft long. Even though our bronze rhino isn't that large, the essence of size is visible. The sculptor has done a terrific job of making the skin look like armour. You can also see the wrinkles and the two sizeable horns on the statue.

Rhino's were first on Earth 50 million years ago! The name "rhino" means horned nose.

Arabian Head sculpture is made of bronze in USA. The head of an Arabian horse is quite distinctive. This statue captures the elegance that an Arabian horse has.

Did you know that one of George Washington's primary mounts during the American Revolutionary Was was a horse named Blueskin. It was half-Arabian having been sired by a stallion obtained from the Sulta of Morocco? Isn't history fascinating?

Longhorn Bull Statue -10 inches

The longhorn bull is known for its long, thick horns that can span over 8 feet from tip to tip. Our statue certainly depicts that length well! The history of the Texas Longhorn connects with the Spanish colonization of the Americas (way back to the late 1400's). The University of Texas at Austin has the Texas Longhorn as its mascot. BeVo. Current Bevo is their 6th.

After the time of large buffalo herds and the Plains Indians, Texas cattle spread northward to the open range and free grass on the Great Plains. Texas longhorns, accompanied by Texas cowboys, stocked most of the new ranches. It's interesting how the longhorn has had a major effect on our history.

Our Longhorn statue has its own interesting story. Carved by hand in Mexico following centuries of experience, no two of these bulls are exactly the same. Please read The Ironwood Story to learn much more.

Ever compare the antlers of a deer, elk and moose? Now you can! Three similar animals with very different heads!

This group of 3 sculptures is perfect for an outdoorsman whether a hunter or not. It is a combination of 3 with no replacement possible. All are hand-carved using ironwood.

On the left in the photo is an Elk. Our statue is 9".

 In the middle is a Moose which is 12".

On the right is a Deer also 9".

The Northern Pintail Duck is a favorite. With a population around 5.5 million birds, it is also one of the most common ducks in the United States. When flying, you see the long middle feathers of the tail, thus identifying the species and providing the reason for the duck's name.

The Pin Tail Duck statue is made of bronze and was created in the USA. It's definitely an original design. Since the Pin Tail frequently lives in marshes, the sculptor has created a couple of reeds where the pintail is going to land. The long middle tail feathers are present, the web feet, and the lowered wings. Feathers are depicted. A lot of thought occurred when this sculpture was created.

Wall Street Gifts announces a NEW bull & bear. With the introduction of the Chinese tariffs we have had to delete many products. Back in the 1970's the EPA put through laws making it impossible to electroplate in the USA. Even though machinery has changed over the 50 years, we STILL cannot electroplate in the USA. We can still buy electroplated from China but due to the tariffs those costs are higher. If we felt the cost was too high, we removed the item from our site

We are excited to introduce a new bull and a new bear that is not electroplated and does not come from China. We drive across the border into Mexico and get them. When you read The Ironwood Story you will have the details of them.

The Bull is 10 inches long. The bull stands on a base.

The Bear is 6-1/2 inches long and has no base.

We sell them together as a duo. The wood board they sit on in the photo is NOT included. Just used it for the photo. We now offer many other animals hand-crafted by these Indians in Mexico. It feels good to help such an age-old tradition continue.
