It's hard to imagine a bird being able to fly at over 200 mph...but the peregrin falcon can. It's the fastest animal in the world. Wow! As a photographer how do you get a photo of one? Our photographer did it! Large 16 x 20" photo. Or, XL 20 x 30".

The word peregrin means wanderer. The peregrin is known to travel over 15,000 miles a year in migration.

Falcon Close-up Photo Art

For thousands of years falcons have been used in hunting. Falcons are thought to migrate as much as 15,500 miles each year. The tell-tale striped chest on this bird says it is a peregrine falcon. Great close-up photo taken by our internationally acclaimed photographer. Large photo measures 16 x 20". XL photo 20 x 30".

The peregrine is renowned for its speed. It has been clocked at 242 mph, which makes it the faster member of the animal kingdom. I was birding near the Cliff House in San Francisco when a Peregrin flew out of a tree above me, went close to my head, and landed up catching something on the beach. It WAS fast. Falcons are very important to the Middle East. In Dubai it's been known for the owner to purchase an airline ticket just so the falcon has it's own seat!

Breeding Season transforms the Great Egret into this. Utterly sensational. You can see why so many egrets lost their lives when ladies used this plumage for their hats! It is simply gorgeous. Note also the green color at end of bill, that is yellow when not breeding.

Two sizes of photo. 16 x 20" or 20 x 30" makes great wall art.

The long, graceful plumes on Great Egrets are called aigrettes. They grow from the shoulder area to trail over the back. Each aigrette is composed of about 35 strands of slim feathers. Both male and female change plumage. How can a mate resist???

Black Panther T-shirt - Exclusively at Wall Street Gifts

The Black Panther is an interesting animal. It's a genetic combination that is fairly rare. Let's begin with a leopard. The panther has a "recessive allele" of a leopard. Panther is essentially a leopard...just a different color. If you look closely, you can even see spots on the panther. But, that's not all. The panther also has a genetic connection to the jaguar. Instead of a "recessive" it has a "dominant allele." So, analyze this. The Black Panther has the leopard's body and the Jaguar's black color.

If you have a scientist in your family, or a future scientist, this would be a fun t-shirt. Made in USA. A great gift!

Cattle Egrets are the smallest egret in the US. It actually sleeps standing up - even when in water! This photo shows two cattle egrets in breeding plumage. Throughout the year, there is always a little orange on their head, but when in breeding plumage it's as glorious as in this photo. Large photo measures 16 x 20". XL photo 20 x 30"

The Cattle Egret is native to Africa and Asia, and began expanding worldwide in the 1800s, reaching North America in the early 1950s. After 70 years here, it is found primarily in the SE. Cattle Egrets may benefit the livestock industry by eating flies (and on rare occasions, ticks) from the bodies of cattle.

How do we get baby egrets? It starts with a DANCE! Bob took this beautiful photo of two egrets in their Mating Dance. See how Bob creates the photo with the background, and then snaps the shot when action is the best. And, the result is this exclusive photo which is super. You have a choice of two sizes. 20 x 16" or 30 x 20".

A great egret has BLACK feet since it normally feeds by standing perfectly still. With black feet the prey do not see the feet.

Egrets are symbols of good fortune, purity, and grace. These big white birds also symbolize new beginnings and prosperity with new endeavors.

Babies are SO cute...both human babies and animal babies.

This large photo shows a Great Egret family - Mother and 3 babies. Simply Beautiful. The mother is still in breeding plumage and the babies look all fluffy. Great photo by our Master Wildlife photographer. We offer his photos exclusively at Wall Street Gifts. Available in two sizes. 20 x 16" or 30 x 20". Yes, we said large photo!

In the late 1800s the population of Great Egrets was decimated nearly to the point of extinction. Why? Because of their feathers. This photo illustrates how gorgeous the feathers are. No wonder ladies liked to display them in their hats. But. for the sake of the Great Egret, the Great Egret is now fairly common in their natural habitat.

Two white Tigers lay next to a pond. Their images are reflected in the pond like a mirror. Photographer did a great job getting this image for us.

Did you know that a red-headed baby has to have BOTH a mother and a father with the red gene in their gene pool (even if neither parent has red hair, just need the gene)? The same is true with the White Tiger. Both parents have to have the white gene - even though both parents may be golden, not white. The odds for a white tiger baby is about 1 in 10,000.

You have a choice of 2 sizes of this photo. A large 20 x 16" size or an even larger 30 x 20" photo.

Barred Owl - Perfection - Yes, judged a 10!

This is the perfect photo of a Barred Owl. Our photographer is an international wildlife photographer who has won many awards. When a photo is judged, it is scored. This photo is one that was judged a perfect 10. A perfect photo. Focus...location of feature....background... There was nothing negative. You've seen the Olympics when a contestant gets a 10 - doesn't happen often. This photo is the photographer's Olympic 10.

The large photo measures 20 x 16" or a larger 30 x 20". It's nice and big.

With its big, black eyes, the Barred Owl can be found in forested areas even in cities. If in the woods, you hear "who cooks for you, who cooks for you all?" you're actually hearing the Barred Owl. If you hear manical laughing, could be two Barred Owls in a courtship duet.
